bg/ish: Crabtree To The 49ers

We got our man. Well, at least, we got the kid I'd hoped for. Michael Crabtree was drafted at #10 by the 49ers today. The two time All-American brings speed and elusiveness to our fairly nondescript receiving corps. So far, he's saying all the right things. This pick instills some confidence in me for the team this year. Ideally I'd like to see former #1 overall pick Alex Smith win the starting job back and rejuvinate his career under Coach Singletary, and with Crabtree and Vernon Davis at his disposal he should have some legitimate threats to help the passing game move the ball down the field.
