bg/ish: Congo Sentences Two Norwegians To Death

Tjostolv Moland and Joshua French are two former Norwegian soldiers, who were convicted in May of murdering their driver and attempting to murder a witness in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Their death sentence was just upheld.

Although I heard about this back in May, admittedly, I don't know a whole lot about the case. What I did remember about the case was the picture I saw of these guys a few months back. Let's just saw if your boy ag and I were ever convicted of murder and sentenced to death in some miserable foriegn country halfway across the world and the news wires came to take our picture, well, I could only hope it would be half as badass as theirs...

Seriously, if you're gonna go out a convicted killer, in the Congo of all places, you might as well go out looking hella rugged in your photos.

Not surprisingly, the court they were convicted in looks an awful lot like one of those storefront churches on Mission street.

Ok, I don't have anything else to say about that...

If we were ever convicted of murder and sentenced to death in some miserable foreign country halfway across the world and the news wires came to take our picture, I hope it's us fighting a tiger.
