bg/ish: "Kif, I'm feeling the Captain's Itch."

I haven't written anything for this blog in a few weeks. I've had the itch to, but just can't seem to find any focus or subject matter that motivates me enough to actually do something about it. There are, as always, factors.

A few weeks ago, around the time of my birthday, based on some things I'd read that lead to a conversation on life perception, I started writing about our daily lives and how more than any of our surroundings or activities, people can have the most profound and noticeable affect on our perceptions.

The thing about people is, they can affect you as much by their absence as they can with their presence. Lately, I've been thinking about the people that I want in my life that just aren't there, for whatever reasons, and it gets me down. Granted, there are some pretty amazing people in my life, and I'm truly grateful for those I count amongst my friends. There are some, though, I miss dearly.

That's all I have to say about that though. I'm shedding the weight of philisophical pondering and looking ahead, somewhat confident, mildly hopeful, and generally confused.

On a different note, I received some truly amazing, wonderful and generally good news this morning, although, at the moment, I'm not at liberty to discuss it! Ha HA! Your boy bg has the upper hand once more! So, out of respect for the wishes of others, I will not at this time divulge the nature of this good news, although I will say, I'm quite giddy.

Seriously, I'm fucking stoked.

So that's it, big announcement that's not really an announcement, and a little bit of self therapy is all you're getting from your boy bg on this day. Ah, but summer is upon us and as the days get longer the nights only get more cutty. Shooting for regular updates from here on out. Break, over.

bg, out.

Dearest bg-
It takes long time to grow an old friend; because truly great friends are hard to find... difficult to leave... and impossible to forget. Together forever and never apart maybe in distance but never in heart.
