agIsh: "My Retirement Grease!!"
I got my 401(K) report in the mail today. It said that I would be poor when I reached 65. The rest of the report is written in Aramaic, which is fitting because only by the grace of Jesús Cristo will any of us common folk make good in this economy. But what choice do we have, right? We just gotta grind that shit out and hope for the best.
I'm fortunate to be in a protective bubble called school that buffers its inhabitants from things like layoffs and salary cuts (to a point). All we know are assignments, quizzes, and exams. However, I do graduate in a year - again, by the grace of Jesús Cristo - and will have to face life outside the bubble eventually.
